10776 Smoke Ranch Drive

Over the years I have had recurring dreams about going to the house that I lived in until I was nine years old. The dream is always the same-I knock on the door and ask the current owners if I can please come in and look since I used to live there! Another thing I have done over the years is randomly check Zillow to see if this house is by any chance for sale so I can at least see pictures of it.

While we were in Boise, I randomly checked to see if this house was for sale and amazingly it was! The stars aligned and we were all able to book an appointment to look through the house! A lot of changes and updates have been made, but the bones were the same. I absolutely loved being there again!

Catching water skippers. This ditch provided so much entertainment growing up. I loved making witches brew in it as well as catching water skippers!

Dad built these shelves!

It was totally surreal to be able to walk through this house again!

Boise 4th of July

We always have fun going to Boise for the Fourth of July. My whole family was able to be there, except for Christy. Our trip consisted of all of the usual things, including boat battles, eating at Romio’s, a day at Roaring Springs, lots of games, crafts with Sierra, a little talent show for those who wanted to participate, fireworks on the Fourth of July, playing at the park, etc.

On our way up to Boise, we were able to stop in Twin Falls to eat some dinner and then drive past the two houses we used to live in. It was fun to show the kids all of the places!

Boat battles

On our way up to Boise we stopped by Twin Falls to look at our old houses. Here we are on the walking path behind one of our houses. It was the first house we ever owned And it brought back so many memories to stand back there and look at the backyard and the house!
